The YouTube Paathi

Nothing really shocks us anymore but seeing this video, released on Tuesday 14th May, really does bring tears to your eyes. ‘Giani’ Kashmira Singh from Leeds was caught watching and listening to YouTube to videos during an Akhand Paath raul. He should have been reading from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji but in the video, he waits for the previous Paathi to leave the hall before he gets his phone out and earphones on, hiding the wires up his clothing to conceal them. During this time, he pretends to be reading just casually “flipping” angs of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee casually without reading them.

According to the video, the Gurdwara committee were approached about the antics of this individual, but the committee refused to take action.

Is the sangat of UK sleeping?? :@
How can you guys let such big beadbi happen?? Vaheguru, Its obvious he's enjoying doing this, you guys should just cut off his head! Shame on those who support a human being as him. You guys should keep updating rest of sangat in Europe and even worldwide what decision that has been taken against him. And if guys decide to let him go you should tell that to. there are plenty of persons who can give him punishment on their own.. i mean if you guys are weak to do anything against him! Please keep us updated.

Kashmira was kicked out of the huddersfield prospect street gurdwara after the sangat protested. Commitee was reluctant to do so. A satkar group of many Singh came from leicester to have him removed.
The committee of this gurdwara is a complete shamble. Police turn up every other weekend. No exageration. Completely embarassing.

This was just a job to kashmira "the giani". I guess we should be questioning ourselves who appoint such people to such posts.
Kashmira obviously just saw this as a job, a means to earn a living. He clearly has no love or respect for Guru sahib. The problem is, priesthood is an occupation these days. And we are to blame.
